The International Choir of Kigali, also referred to as Choeur International et Ensemble Instrumental de Kigali, music group based in Kigali, Rwanda. It was founded in 1997 with a mission to promote diverse musical genres, ranging from Rwandan traditional and modern styles to international music. The choir is open to members without discrimination based on gender, origin, race, or religion.

About Choeur International et Ensemble Instrumental de Kigali

#CIEIK is a musical, voluntary, and non-political organization, that any person can become member without any discrimination based on sex, origin, race, or religious belief. (per amore della musica)

We aim to promote music in Rwanda and abroad committed to:

– Raising the level of different song styles, from Rwandan traditional music to Rwandan modern and international music;

– Promoting the musical talents of our members in singing and using modern instruments; – Providing the Rwandan public with a repertoire of songs from different count times and countries;

– Teaching music to children at all school levels; – Organizing high-class concerts; – Promoting social works;

– Encouraging cooperation between Rwandan musical groups and foreign musical groups to promote music in Rwanda.
